Product information
KPV is a tripeptide: a chain of just three amino acids, lysine, proline and valine. It is the tail end of α-MSH, one of the body's own hormones. In the literature it is therefore also called α-MSH(11-13).
Research into KPV is mainly about inflammatory processes. The substance has been studied in connection with inflammation of the intestinal wall and with skin cells. Because the molecule is so small, absorption through the gut also comes up in that research. It is not registered as a medicine anywhere.
Related products are BPC-157 for recovery research, GHK-Cu for skin research and PT-141, which like KPV is derived from α-MSH. How to dissolve the powder with bacteriostatic water is explained in the reconstitution and storage guide. See also Repair & regeneration.
